The Sylvia Davis Patricelli Fine Arts Scholarship Inc 501C3 non-profit charity provides financial support to a graduating senior high school student, in selected CT towns, pursuing a secondary education degree majoring in the fine/creative arts. This foundation was established in memory of Sylvia Davis Patricelli by the founder, her daughter, Susan Patricelli Regan, Host of CT Valley Views.
Mrs. Patricelli was an internationally known portrait painter from Sydney, Australia whose unmatched collections of oil paintings are not only valued for their extraordinary depiction of subjects and style but equally by their historic relevance. Sylvia's first exhibition in the U.S. was opened by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt in Hartford, CT and sponsored by G.Fox & Co., the Wadsworth Atheneum and WTIC. See her website: www.sylviadavisartfoundation.org
From time to time, a selection from the collections is used as backdrop to CT Valley Views guest interview venue.
